Sunshine Coast
Wedding Music

Perfect for intimate, contemporary Sunshine Coast, Brisbane & Gold Coast weddings, functions, events, conferences and celebrations, Echelon Grey is a highly professional acoustic trio, who create a warm ambience within any venue. The band can tailor their music to suit your specific entertainment needs.

Bec, Sparky and Rory, under the guise of Echelon Grey, create a sublime atmosphere for any function or wedding. Based on the Sunshine Coast, this experienced acoustic trio have been playing weddings and music venues for over 10 years, weaving their magic with only two guitars, three voices, rich harmonies and a tasty mix of your favourite tunes.

Together Bec, Sparky and Rory delight audiences from Noosa across Sunshine Coast through Brisbane and down to the Gold Coast adding a fresh and vibrant spice to familiar tunes both old and new.

Bec began her musical studies at the Blue Mountains Conservatorium, where she trained for four years, before furthering her studies at the Conservatorium in Sydney, training in musical theatre and jazz singing. Not only is Bec working on her own original CD, her beautiful voice can also be heard singing backing vocals on many local Sunshine Coast recording artists’ CDs, and has become a major “gun-for-hire” when it comes to session singing.

Mark ‘Sparky’ Paltridge began his illustrious musical career in Melbourne, playing drums and percussion for various world music ensembles, before being snapped up by the now infamous Toothfaeries, for whom he played percussion until their demise in 2000. Sparky has been on the coast for over fifteen years, playing with many folk/dance acts, including Subfreq, Zimbira, Jambezi, The David Flower Band, The Brixton Rockers, and folk festival favourites, The Houseprouds.
Rory O’Donnell completes the trio on lead acoustic guitar. Rory also has become a major player in the music scene, often playing session guitar for various recording artists, and running his own recording studio.
